About Me
Towards the end of my high school sports career, I followed in my dad’s and two older brothers’ footsteps by picking up weightlifting. What started as curiosity quickly became a passion as I poured my time and energy into learning the importance of proper training, recovery, and nutrition.
Fast forward to my senior year at the University of Oregon, right in the middle of the pandemic, I was unexpectedly diagnosed with a brain tumor located next to my motor cortex. The news was terrifying, but I am endlessly grateful that doctors were able to remove the entire tumor through surgery. The recovery process, however, came with a challenge I did not see coming. I was told to avoid all physical activity for an entire year.
That year taught me patience, gratitude, and perspective. While healing, I focused on finishing strong academically and graduated alongside my classmates with degrees in Finance, Spanish, and International Business. Once I was cleared to move again, I returned home to California, where I was born and raised, and began working a corporate job.
As I slowly found my way back into the gym, I decided to share my recovery and rebuilding journey on TikTok. What started as a personal outlet quickly grew into a community. I began documenting everything: the highs, the lows, the tips, the lessons learned, and the mental growth that came with transforming not just my body but also my mindset.
Today, my mission is to inspire others to embrace their strength, both inside and out, and to show that setbacks do not define you. What truly matters is how you come back.
